TURKISH GÖZLEME RECIPE || Spinach and Feta Gozleme || Turkish Stuffed Flatbread || Gozleme In this video, we show you a delicious Turkish Gözleme Recipe. Gozleme is a Turkish Stuffed Flatbread that can be made with various fillings. One of the most popular ones is the Spinach and Feta Gozleme which we absolutely adored as soon as we first tried in Istanbul Turkey. Other Gozleme fillings include a spiced mashed potato and also mince lamb or beef. The thin and crispy flatbread with a delicious Spinach and Feta cheese filling is absolutely delicious, especially when served with a dill yogurt dip, salad and olives. To make the Turkish Gözleme Recipe, you will need: Gozleme Dough: 3 cups all-purpose flour salt to taste 3 tbs milk enough water to form into a dough (about 200ml) *This dough yields 8-10 gözleme Spinach and Feta filling: 2 tbs olive oil salt to taste 1 medium-sized onion (finely chopped) 300g spinach (we used baby spinach) 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 tsp red pepper flakes (pul biber) 1/4 tsp garlic powder 100g feta cheese (crumbled) optional: mozzarella cheese olive oil for cooking *If you wilt the spinach then this filling is is enough for 4 gözleme. It's best not to overcook the spinach as it will cook when you make the gözleme, in fact, you can even use raw spinach. We made an extra gözleme with a spiced mashed potato mixture. You can double the spinach quantity (if you wilt it), or keep it raw if you want to make extra filling for more gözlemes. Gozleme is a popular street food in Turkey and just incredibly delicious. Other vegetarian gozleme fillings can include potatoes, leeks, cheese or really anything that you can imagine!
