Birds and Wildlife of the Pacific Northwest - Episode 5 - Videos for Cats and Babies

Episode 5 - Trying the wildlife camera in yet another new location. This area captured a lot of bird activity, and less squirrel and chipmunk activity than other videos. We get another cameo from a deer, and toward the end of the movie heavy rains and wind appear to have brought a branch down, narrowly missing the camera! Are your cats bored? Do they long for windows to watch wildlife from, or do you just live in an area without many animals for your birds to watch? Now you don't need windows! Use this sensory video of Pacific Northwest wildlife, birds, squirrels, and other animals to entertain cats, dogs, kids, and babies. Filmed in the foothills of the Cascade range near Portland, Oregon, Mt. Hood, and the Willamette Valley in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Birds and animals you might see in this and other videos include those below (and more!) See if you can identify them, and let me know if I missed anything! Red-breasted nuthatch (Sitta canadensis) Pygmy nuthatch (Sitta pygmaea) Black-capped chickadee (Poecile atricapillus) Oregon dark-eyed junco (Junco hyemalis oreganus) House finch (Haemorhous mexicanus) Spotted towhee/Oregon towhee (Pipilo maculatus oregonus) Varied thrush (Ixoreus naevius) Douglas squirrel/Chickaree (Tamiasciurus douglasii) Western gray squirrel (Sciurus griseus) Townsend's chipmunk (Neotamias townsendii)
