It is developed by Guido van rossum in 1991. He named it after the telivision show Monty python's flying circus. It is mainly used in : Web applications, Game development, Machine learning and robotics. Python has various cross platforms: Windows, Linux, MacOS and rasberry pi. It is interpreted language. - Python program executed directly from the code. - then code is converted into Byte code - this Bytecode is converted into machine language - the machine language is only understood by the computer.
