DJ Luna's New Drone | Un-boxing | Maiden Flight

Ever since I have seen the UAS or more commonly known as the DRONE market open up to the general public, I wanted to get one of these to add to the arsenal of cameras and fun electronics that I own. ESPECIALLY ONE THAT CAN FLY! I grew up near an airport and was very much exposed to the aviation industry at a very young age. Although extremely terrified of aircraft and wanted no part of going up in an airplane only because the sound of the propeller of a prop driven aircraft was loud and frightening to me. But as I got older, that sound that was terrifying to me quickly became less scary and grew a real fascination of flying. I was introduced to Microsoft Flight Simulator where I was able to fly the simulated aircraft and really get my imagination going as if I was REALLLY flying an airplane. In my freshman year in H.S. 2 of the shop/technology class teachers who taught at the H.S. I was attending invited me to go flying with them at the local airport that I grew up near. After getting permission from my parents, I got to experience what a pilot goes through before their flight, during their flight and after the flight. It was one of the most memorable and enjoyable experience I had as a H.S. teen whereas they included and got me involved in the setup of their flight plans. Now fast forward the clock to the day of the DRONES!!! When I saw my first drone, I knew that was something that I would love to get into and flying my own drone one day, Well that day came finally where an opportunity presented itself for me to purchase a drone. After many hours of research on what features and capabilities I wanted in a drone, I decided to go with the DJI Phantom 4 Pro. This is not a drone for the real beginner where this drone as so many features that it takes a lot of concentration and do diligence to fly one of these drones safely. Also there are a lot of rules and regulations on when and where you can fly one. So after I got the drone all put together, it was time for me to take her out for her maiden flight and try out the awesome camera system that is installed on this drone. All I can say is "WOW"! The photos and the video this drone can produce has exceeded my expectations. With that being said, be on the lookout for more aerial videos and pictures to come.
