40cm Heaviest Snow in Seoul Myeongdong Street at 5AM _ Night Walking Tour

Hello, everyone! This is Nathan. Yesterday, Seoul experienced a record-breaking snowstorm, and I captured this extraordinary moment by walking through the snow-covered streets of Myeongdong at 5 AM. Unlike its usual lively vibe, Myeongdong was quiet and serene, wrapped in a blanket of snow, creating an almost otherworldly atmosphere. In this walking tour video, you’ll experience the charm of a winter night in Myeongdong during a snowstorm. The first snow of the season fell heavy. On Wednesday, the Seoul Meteorological Observatory said the heaviest snow accumulation of the day was 40cm at 7AM. That's the heaviest snow recorded on any day in November since 1907 when such observations were first made. The previous record was 12.4cm in November 1972. Some places within the capital city, including Seongbuk-gu and Gangbuk-gu districts even saw over 20cm by 7AM. Filmed: Wednesday, November 27, 2024, 5:03AM KST Weather: Snowy ❄️ Temperature: -1℃ / 30℉
