An IDE in Linux with real time preview?

I use Espresso on the Mac and Geany on Linux as my IDE (integrated development environments) for my work in HTML and JavaScript that I'm doing for my classes this term as part of my major of integrating technology into education. I have really fallen in love with coding (I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy it but I do). LOL I'm curious if there is an IDE like Espresso that has a real time preview feature on the Linux side (without having to open up a browser). Thanks.
