Recorded date - 30/6/2022 Go North West 3209/MX07BSY Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini Route 97 Bury Interchange - Manchester, Shudehill Interchange A few years ago Go Ahead acquired Queens Road depot from First Manchester, along with this were a large number of buses and the routes ran from the depot as well. Despite bringing in a large amount of buses from elsewhere some of the older buses remain in service including the earliest B9TLs from 2007. Slowly but surely these are being replaced by newer B5LH/MCV Evosetis from London, while on my way back from the East Lancs Railway I found 3209/MX07BSY preparing to work an early evening 97 from Bury to Manchester so after discovering it was required I hopped onboard for the journey to the City Centre. It's recorded working its way out of Bury through Fishpools and in to Blackbridge including a small hill climb.
