April 22 is Earth Day! One way to celebrate is to incorporate grasses and grass-like plants in your projects to invest in our planet and promote better living through plants. Using grasses, sedges and rushes help manage water, add ecological function, and enhance pollinator habitats. They help to stabilize soils to prevent erosion, increase infiltration, support wildlife, clean and filter stormwater runoff, and sequester carbon.
