Volkswagen ID.3 — the first production pure electric car from Volkswagen. The official presentation took place on September 9, 2019 at the international motor show in Frankfurt. Production of the car began on November 4, 2019 at the plant in Zwickau. The second Assembly line is scheduled to be launched in April 2020. In addition, Volkswagen ID.3 was the first model with an updated brand logo. It has lost its three-dimensionality and is now a flat part with the letters VW drawn, and instead of a black background, white (for most models), blue (for electric cars) or red (for sports versions) is now used.
