Fixing The Moeller Fuel Pick Up Tube Rot Problem

***I AM BY NO MEANS A MECHANIC, JUST A DUDE TRYING TO GET SHIT DONE*** I'm having some "time off" working on my old boat. It's a 1960 Starcraft. I put in a permanent tank about 5 years ago and let it sit. The pick-up line tube on these are garbage. It disintegrated. So, I replaced it with a submersible fuel line. Here's a decent idea of the fix. Good luck! BTW, it all worked, I didn't end up putting anything on the end of the hose...
