The first time I heard the word ‘Conflict’ was in college when I was sitting in my Management class where we were discussing ‘Organizational Behavior’ I was about 18 years old and I was wondering why would people have misunderstandings at the workplace and how the word ‘ego’ meant so many different things in Human Behavior. Today when I mentor grown-ups and discuss the various situations in their lives where conflict is a part of everyday functioning, be it in their professional or personal lives. To find a resolution both parties have to be able to see each perspective, understand and have the INTENT to resolve the situation. Whether it is a quarrel with your loved ones on where to dine over the weekend or whether it is a situation of two countries pointlessly fighting over issues that cost lives, human behavior is complex.
