The Jaguar XJ6 Champ Car project is being fitted with a new roll cage. This is a video that was put off last year when the Texas XJS (Ol' Tex) project took a nasty turn and dominated the production schedule for the rest of the year.So this episode will be a bit of a retrospective regarding how we designed, fabricated, and installed the roll cage in the 1990 XJ6 / XJ40 Champ Car Project.While the Jaguar XJ6 is an uncommon choice for racing purposes, all of the design and construction principles remain the same regardless of what vehicle you choose.
