Todays photo editing tutorial will show how to blur the background of a photo in photoshop to create a beautiful picture like a professional and expensive DSLR camera. This photoshop effect will make the subject of your photo stand out and create a beautiful photo. In the photoshop tutorial I cover two different ways to create this effect with two different photos to be sure you will be able to blur the background of any photo you have regardless of clarity or complexity of the background. The first way this effect is done is by using the quick selection and mask tools to get the background and subject on different layers and the second photo we use the pen tool to make a selection around our subject and create a fade from clear to blurry as the photo raises to create the effect the photo slowly goes out of focus as it gets further away.
