Annual maintenance cut for size, shape and form. Perform the following: 1. Remove any excess height & width by cutting stems at next joint (size down) 2. Remove excess branching by retaining only 1 or 2 branching per cluster (thin out) 3. Even out (shape) 4. Shake up (clean off dead leaves) Dead and crossed branches removed always. But I have not found any after thinning.
