How to Implement Custom View Dialog Box in Android Studio Kotlin

This code sets up a custom dialog box in an Android app using Kotlin. First, a new dialog object is created and the custom layout for the dialog is set using setContentView. The layout has two buttons with ids cancelBtn and saveBtn and an EditText with id edMessage. Then, the button objects and the EditText object are initialized using findViewById. When the cancel button is clicked, a toast message is displayed with the text "Cancel" and the dialog is dismissed using the dismiss() method of the dialog object. When the save button is clicked, another toast message is displayed with the text entered in the EditText and the dialog is dismissed using the dismiss() method. Finally, a button object is initialized for the custom button with id customBtn. When this button is clicked, the custom dialog is displayed using the show() method of the dialog object.
