Bushcraft camping in the rain, primitive building shelter and bed, outdoor cooking

My first real shelter is almost completed!♥ It rained pretty heavy almost the whole time I was in the forest and working in the rain was definitely not easy. My rain poncho was getting in the way constantly, my hat was blocking my view - as you can see me bumping my head on the branch in this video - and my gloves were getting soaked. Because all the trees were soaked and covered in dirt, my poncho, my hat, and my jacket started getting dirty so quickly. Yes... it was a big mistake to wear light colors especially on a rainy day lol. I definitely learned my lesson the hard way. LOL. The rain made it difficult, but the sound of the rain is always the best thing I can hear in this world. I enjoyed sleeping in the shelter with the sound of rain. I now have to make a more practical table and a chair, and maybe a bench to rest on. I will make them when I come back to the shelter next time. I should also clean up the ground around my shelter. Cutting the woods in front of the shelter sure makes a hot mess everywhere. Maybe I should make some windows too? It was a little dark inside the shelter even during the day. Some sunlight would be nice... I just gotta figure out how to cut out the woods and make a window. Hopefully it won't rain next time so I can work without getting all my clothes dirty. lol.
