Champion's Ashes Moveset System on Display

The video isn't meant to show impressive gameplay, but rather to show off the very smooth feeling combat system recently added to Dark Souls 3 with Champion's Ashes. Champion's Ashes is a mod that changes many components of the Dark Souls combat formula to help break up monotonous and repetitive combat into a more fluid and aggressive experience. Once I complete the game using this mod, expect a review on the mod and its added features. A few warnings: If you decide to use this mod, its primary purpose is PVP, not PvE. As it is a primarily PvP mod that changes animations, attack speeds, movesets, and several weapons all together, it is important to know that installing and playing this mod on online play will softban your account. There are methods to get around this (Steam Family share, for example) but I just want you to be prepared and ready for this to happen. Secondly, while you CAN use this mod against other players in online PvP before you're softbanned, I highly suggest you don't. The combat system in this mod gives you a substantial advantage over vanilla players, and as such generates a poor playing experience for others. You can maintain online play, but refrain from using the weapons added by this mod, or the moveset mechanics in PvP fights. Soft bans occur every Tuesday, and so once you begin a game with mod installed online, your account WILL be softbanned. For those unaware of Dark Souls 3's banning system, Dark souls does not outright ban players from online play for cheating. Instead, cheaters are set to connect to a different server where other cheaters are. Generally this isn't horrific, as this is where many of the users of this mod, along with things like Cinders are currently playing. Unfortunately this also means you may have to deal with actively malicious cheaters, so weigh your choices accordingly. Link: https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls3/mods/488 FOR PLAYERS WHO WANT TO TEST OFFLINE: When you open the launcher for the game and this mod, there is an option to disable/enable the mod from startup. To test this mod in offline play, just disable it, launch the game, and change your launch settings to Offline only. Once you do that, close out of the game, and relaunch with the mod enabled. I highly suggest you do this on a new character or save, because if you reconnect to the servers with a file that had this mod on it at any time, it will result in a softban.
