Double Helix / DNA Variations | Neodymium Magnetic Balls

Four different versions of a DNA-like double helix structure from neodymium ball magnets. The three helixes in the first part of the video are based on 4, 5, and 6 ball rings forming a twisted ladder design. The last one is a double helix made entirely from R60 spheres. 6 spheres interlocked in an alternating polarity pattern form each rung in this structure. The chain shown here uses 9 rungs of 6 = 54 × 60 = 3240 magnets in total.
