This dream trailer was created to entertain the fans and in hopes that it will inspire filmakers to make it a real movie! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Editing Journey: I was excited when I made The Last of Us Season 2 dream trailer 2 because of how much fun I had making trailer 1. I wanted to introduce the character of Abby in powerful way by showing her motive which is the demise of his father in the hands of Joel. It begins similarly with trailer 1 but trailer 2 I made Abby and Joel have face to face. Likewise the fan film had wonderful scenes that help make trailer 2 realistic. I put attention on highlighting the motive of not only Abby but also Ellie. I think Season 2 needs to happen not only because of the success of the first season but because there are more stories to tell of Ellie and Joel. The rest of the trailer we get to hear Ellie’s side of the story. The challenge was the sound mixing. Because the music is a song I have to loop it without making it sound weird. We get some great question from Ellie using the fan film THE LAST OF US ALL WE LOST about questioning if revenge is a worth it. “Endless Chase” line was great about referencing how Ellie keeps chasing Abby because she wants revenge. Although this was shorter than the previews version I think its still good and worth the watch.
