YOGA AT WORK | EXERCISE 5 - BREATHING EXERCISE - HYPER OXYGENATION
We all know that breathing is key to control our anxiety levels, our focus and concentration, so let's try to bring more oxygen into our lungs by doing an exercise that works like hyper oxygenation. Breathe only through your nose, clear the nasal cavities, make sure there is no mucus, and feel a full and deep breathing. Place your palms upwards in a receptive position on your thighs, your shoulders must be rolled back to keep your chest wide open, and now close your eyes in order to focus on your internal state, becoming more aware of what is happening inside. Breathe through your nose, as if you had bellows in your lungs, a quick breath. Breathe in. Look at the movement of the diaphragm: up and down, up and down. Let's go. Let's irrigate all the muscles of the respiratory system. The air coming in is the air going out. It's easy. Try not to speed up too much because you might start to feel a little nauseous, so do it slowly. Start at a slow pace and then speed up, giving your lungs more elasticity.
