Colourbox Garden The Colour Box garden is a celebration of people helping each other within the horticultural community. Charlie Bloom is the show garden's designer, she says: "We simply set out to build a backdrop so that the plants could take centre stage. It is also full of colour – nothing muted here! We wanted to get away from all the corporate messaging and pretentiousness at these shows by doing something fresh. We've gone back to basics and asked the community for 'help' – the vision was to produce something beautiful, despite having no financial sponsorship, and demonstrate what can be achieved with a small budget." They're fun, colourful and tactile; I also really like the fact that they're made out of GRP - wood can be so harsh sometimes and not so comfortable to sit upon."
