The price makes this router attractive, given that more commonly known brands such as Bosch or Makita are selling a similar version for more almost triple the price. The router comes with a fixed base, but can be used with a plunge base, tilting base, or offset base, which can be purchased separately. It comes with a straight guide for cutting ploughs or dados, a trimmer guide for flush cutting, and a dust nozzle for dust collection. It also comes with replacement brushes and a wrench for changing router bits. There are many features on this router that make it competitive amongst larger brands. It features a rack and pinion depth adjustment, which makes it simple to precisely set the depth of your bit. The soft start feature will prolong the life of the router, as well as the life of your bits. This is a feature that should be utilized on every router, circular saw, and chop saw on the market. The moulded rubber grip on the base gives the user a comfortable handle while using the router. It fits nicely in your hand and gives you great control. The only drawback I have found so far is the length of the cord. It measures at 6 feet in length (1.82 m). If you aren’t planning on using a lead, this could be a small issue.
