The future queen was there to hand out an award, not to buy one, and she was seated in the front row, unlike some people in the audience. Sitting in the Royal Box, she doesn't have to grab a mic to get attention. Harry will be very upset and confused, which seems to be his normal state, but he gets outshone by Catherine just walking down some stairs and sitting down. That's got to sting, especially since he was receiving an award and the Princess of Wales was just showing up. The Sussexes just can't seem to get in front of anything. They knew when the men's final was scheduled and that Catherine would make a massive effort to be there. The wise thing would have been not to accept the Tillman Award and therefore not have to turn up, then scamper off like a pair of scolded cats to dodge awkward questions about his frontline service or the little ones.
