Stenka Razin - Russian folk song

Ottaworth's arrangement of a popular Russian song describing the legendary exploits of a 17th-century Cossack leader-cum-pirate, Stepan (Stenka) Razin — in Russian: Степан (Стенька) Разин. These include his marriage to a captured Persian princess, much to the disapproval of his men. The arrangement was recorded by Ottaworth in April 1995 in Ottawa on a 1920 Heintzman grand piano. The accompanying pictures (to the arranger's knowledge, all in the public domain) show various Russian artists' depictions of Stenka Razin and their illustrations of the story told in the song.
