LAKE CUI PARTY

Lake Cui (Green Lake) is a Lake located in the center of Kunming, Yunnan province, China, famous for its lush greenery. Lake Cui Park is built on the lake embankment, which is the public's usual entertainment and leisure place. Yunnan is home to the largest number of ethnic minorities in China, with 25 resident groups. Ethnic minorities in Yunnan, a province on the border, are known for their ability to sing and dance. Meanwhile, different minority community artists come here nearly every day, while the scene of their gathering is like a grand ball. The purpose of this documentary is to bring more attention to local minority groups, by showing the rich and varied spare time life they have. In interviews with 'Disco Queen' and 'Drag Queen', moving stories and distinctive cultural features were discovered. At the same time, the combination of MV editing techniques, national art, and international music has been presented.
