How to fix "NO SPACE LEFT ON /BOOT" on Backbox 4 Linux and other Linux

Problem: "/boot" partition is full. Updates keeps failing due to no space left Solution: Remove debris from /boot so new can placed on it. 1 - Open terminal and type : sudo apt-get clean That will clean a bit of debris 2 - Elevate to root by typing in terminal : sudo bash (follow up with your password) 3 - Change directory to boot partition : cd /boot 4 - List files. Type into terminal : ls -l 5 - To remove the entries you type into terminal : (example) rm abi-3.13.0-55-generic ( i usually copy and paste the entry ) 6 - For every deletion of kernel entry refresh terminal with ls -l REBOOT and pray....
