Spotlight on Trees: White Fir (Abies concolor var. concolor)- 5/24/20

Location: San Bernardino National Forest- San Bernardino Mountains- San Bernardino County (South of Big Bear Lake), Southern California. White Fir is a large to very large tree in the Pine Family (Pinaceae). Common in higher Southern California Mountains and in the Rocky Mountain states, and even found in a few higher canyons in the Mojave National Preserve.
