The automatic drive positioner (or ADP) provides two methods of retaining stored driver’s seat, outside mirrors and, if so equipped, steering column positions. These procedures are called Key-Link, and Memory Storage Functions. Using these controls on the driver’s side door The “Memory” storage function enables you to store two sets of positions for the driver’s seat, power steering column (if so equipped) and outside mirrors. To store a set of positions: 1. First, ensure that the shift lever is in Park with the ignition switch in the ACC or ON position. 2. Adjust the driver’s seat, steering column and outside mirrors to the desired positions by manually operating each adjusting switch. 3. Push the SET switch and within five seconds, push memory switch one or two. 4. The indicator light for the pushed memory switch will illuminate and remain on for approximately five seconds. If the memory has been stored a chime will sound. If a NEW set of positions is stored in the same memory switch, the previous memory positions will be overwritten. Your vehicle also has a feature to link your memory settings to the Intelligent Key. To activate this feature: 1. Unlock the vehicle with the desired Intelligent Key and confirm the ignition is in the OFF position. 2. Ensure the shift lever is in Park and place the ignition in the ON position. 3. Now, Adjust the driver Seat, Outside Mirrors and Power steering column 4. Use the steering wheel arrow-button to select the ""Settings"" menu in the meter display. 5. Arrow down until you reach the Key Link Settings 6. Press the OK button 7. Press the OK button again to toggle the Key Link system ON or OFF When the system is ON; the Driver Seat, Outside Mirror, and steering column (if so equipped) positions are linked to the Intelligent Key each time the ignition is turned from ON to OFF. When the Key Link Settings is ON, the meter setting items are memorized for each Intelligent Key. The KEY-LINK memory positions can be different than the positions stored in the Memory SWITCH “1” OR “2”. If two intelligent keys are in the vehicle at the same time, the Key Link System will recognize the last key used. If there is a desire to change to another key in the vehicle: 1. Turn the engine off. 2. Press the UNLOCK button on the intelligent key that you wish to use, and 3. Start the engine. In addition, your vehicle is also equipped with the Entry/Exit Function. This feature automatically moves the driver’s seat back, and the steering column up (if so equipped), when: ● the driver’s door is opened with the ignition switch OFF, or ● the ignition switch is turned from ACC to OFF with the driver’s door open. The driver’s seat and steering column will return to their previous positions when the ignition switch is placed in the ACC or ON position. The entry/exit function can be adjusted or cancelled through the Vehicle Settings in the vehicle information display by performing the following: 1. Use the steering wheel arrow-button to select the ""Settings"" menu in the meter display. 2. Press the OK button 3. Arrow down until you reach Vehicle Settings 4. Press the OK button 5. Arrow down until you reach Driving Position 6. Press the OK button 7. Arrow down and select Exit Seat Slide or Exit Steering Up 8. Now press OK button to toggle it on or off.
