For this game I’m using my Novristch SSG24 with a sunshade and custom-made kill flash. These two additions to my SSG won’t help me much in this medium distance urban environment but will at larger forest environment milsim games. The sidearm I am carrying is an Elite Force Glock 19 powered by green gas. The holster I’m using for my Glock 19 is a Blade-Tech Revolution paddle with an adjustable belt attachment. Having a good holster to carry your handgun is just as important as the sidearm itself. Heat has always been a major issue at Blackshield. To keep sweat from dripping into my eyes while I try to snipe, I’m using a NoSweat sweat absorbing helmet liner. This disposable liner sticks to the front pad of your helmet with adhesive and easily peels off with all your gross sweat once you’re done playing. Normally SC Village is split into very small fields for fast paced games. For games like Blackshield and Evike.com’s Airsoft Nation these small fields are combined to make 1 giant field. This is fun because terrain can change dramatically as your team pushes forward onto a new type of field. This is especially fun for sniping because it offers a wide variety of types of terrain to snipe into and from.
