Elephants are hit with bull hooks as laughing mahouts jump on their back. Undercover footage shows the animal abuse at the Ayutthaya Elephant Palace & Royal Kraal in Thailand. The jumbos are chained up swaying nervously from side to side while locals feed them sugarcane and vegetables. Some have wounds on their heads from where they are struck with the weapons. Workers climb over their backs potentially damaging the elephants' spines. Please avoid places where elephants are exploited for the tourist industry!
