Video Card: PNY Geforce 570 GTX OC @ 750-2000(733-1900) When playing I set my fan manually at 80% with EVGA Precision Software. Soundcard: I only use headphones USB a Razer Megalodon when recording I use the 7.1. OS: Windows 7(64) Pro OEM. MB:Asus Sabertooth P67 (TuF)Rev.B RAM: 8 Gb PC1600. I use 3 hard drives one where my games located and the other for fraps and other my system, this way my recording can catch up with my game speed. ===============Fraps=============== No mouse pointer on. Recording locked in 30FPS due to youtube limit. Stereo mode instead of multichannel due to Sony Vegas can't recognize it. ===============Sony Vegas Home Studio Suite 10============ I use sony Vegas to do my edits,titles,effects etc and render the output using an alternative encoder for uncompress high quality. I now use the encoder called Avids DNxHD-Codec and export the uncompress movie in .MOV format. http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=372311 The DNxHD-Codec settings I use as follow: Color level- 709 Alpha- None Resolutions- 1080i/59.94 DNxHD 220 8-bit A 30Min video now nets me 50GB instead 300GB in AVI uncompress. The video settings are set at 1920x1080p with now 30fps instead of 29.97 for more smooth playback and youtube supports it now,the audio is using pcm and video render is set at best and progressive. On the video track FX in Sony vegas you must use a plug in color corrector set it to Computer RGB to Studio RGB,if you don't your videos will be very dark. Also each video event part you must set the video property to disable re sample,not force or smart re sample. I use different guides from the web but the closet I use is from this link: http://www.jazzythedog.com/testing/DNxHD/HD-Guide.aspx I'm using an alternative handbrake,it's called Media coder I'm still tweaking the setting here and there. The Media info will be posted last of this info box FYI. Before when I was using handbrake I was able to use a 4Mbit rate which net me around 900mb for a 30mins video, but now youtube changed how they encode the videos since July 14 2011(estimated date) thats around that time youtube fixed the encoder aspect ratio for 1920x1080p which videos are no longer squashed and no longer need to re size videos to 1920x1072.
