Visiting LAKE BAIKAL, Russia - The Deepest Lake in the World

Lake Baikal in Siberia is not only the deepest lake in the world, but also the oldest and one of the clearest! It holds one fifth of the world's freshwater supply and also supports more than 3,700 species, most of which are endemic, which means they can't be found anywhere else in the world. After completing my 5-day Trans-Siberian journey, I arrived in the city of Irkutsk, 70 kilometres away from this lake. So I took a bus and spent a day there. Watch to see what you can do (and eat) at Lake Baikal! For more information on how to get there, the best time to go, and where to stay if you're visiting for more than one day, head over to my blog: https://ummigoeswhere.com/lake-baikal You can also follow me on social media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ummigoeswhere Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ummigoeswhere Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/ummigoeswhere I'm a new blogger/vlogger.
