Its UV coating, weather resistant finish, and creative design make the AT-400B perfect for easy home exterior installation: wall, roof, balcony. It is also suitable for indoor use in an attic or placed on a table top. The AT-400B supports HDTV, 1080p TV, and 4K ULTRA HD and is compatible with TV converter boxes or digital TVs. The number of TV channels and programs that you can receive for free depends on the amount of over-the-air broadcasters in your area. With the Antop AT-400B, there is no monthly fee and no need to subscribe. Just plug into a TV, scan the channels, then enjoy your TV shows. By following the simple tips below, you can enjoy free TV with your Antop Antenna: Scan channels monthly to find all available channels including newly added or changed, do not place or hide the antenna in/behind any metallic objects, Install the antenna as high as possible and near a window for better reception, Keep the antenna away from any high power consumption devices to avoid interference. Note. I have very seldom subscribed to cable TV and most of my lifetime I used TV antennas. In the years past, TV antennas have changed in sizes and shapes. The last one I used was about 1 foot square with 1/2 inch thick. I used to get many channels, but not all the local channels. With the new generation, digital technology Antop Flat Panel Smart pass Amplified Outdoor/Indoor HDTV Antenna with built-in 4G LTE Filter I have tuned in 89 channels. But I had a problem with it and I also found the solution. I use my antenna inside the house, by the TV. Even though I tuned the 89 channels, I would not get a clear reception of all those channels, or I would have to twist and turn the antenna to get certain channels. Sometimes when I walk around the antenna, the channels would disappear. The solution was to disconnect the power amplifier and just use the coaxial cable. That fixed the issue. May be for the indoor use, I may not need the power amplifier, just only the flat panel antenna and coaxial cable. Now everything is crystal clear and no interruptions or shaking of channels. The Atop works fine, and I love the free channels!. The only complaint I have is that it is a little bulky for indoor use.
