Node JS is a runtime environment that is built on chrome's V8 Javascript engine and it is used to create server-side and network applications. People or I may say beginners always think of node js as a backend language or a framework. However, it is not true. Node JS is a platform where your javascript code runs. Before going directly inside node js it is very important to also know the backend of the web. So in this Crash Course, we will first understand how the backend works, we will also look after the module system and learn the core modules of node js.
