2022-05-15 Great Reset or Great Awakening

There are two kinds of darkness – one that leads to spiritual wisdom (the dark fertile womb out of which all life emerges), and another that leads to spiritual dementia. Our world is in danger of descending into the latter, and many of our erstwhile democratic institutions seem hellbent on accelerating us into this senility. In today’s homily, I look at the latter trajectory – courtesy of The World Economic Forum, The UN and the WHO, armed with censorship and omnipresent spying on the world’s citizens, and enforcing its transhumanist agenda, where we “will own nothing and be happy” (Klaus Schwab). And then there is the Great Awakening that beckons us into a new way of doing life on planet Earth via small, networked communities fashioning their own versions of education, medicine, finance, agriculture… The homily ends with an examination of what Ascension might look like – that of the individual soul and that of the planet and the very cosmos itself. In this evolution, the Sermon on the Mount will be a lullaby sung by a mother comforting her fever-ridden infant. It will be Christa comforting her Christ Child. About Fr. Seán ÓLaoire, PhD Fr.
