Wedding DJ & Mobile Disco at Theddingworth near Hothorpe

Here are a few little snippets of video from Lucy & Steven's wedding last weekend , held in a marquee just outside Theddingworth, just down the road from Hothorpe Hall, another popular wedding venue that I regularly work at. I met with Lucy and Steven at their home before they booked to discuss their plans for the day, what kind of atmosphere they wanted to create and if they had any ideas for the music they would like. Lucy and Steven told me that they didn't really have any specific music choices and they just wanted to make sure that everybody had a good time. They simply asked me for their chosen first dance song and also asked for the 'Baywatch Theme Tune' to be played later in the evening as it was a song with some great memories for Steven and his friends. We agreed that I would actively ask for requests from the guests during the night, and Lucy herself also asked for one or two songs to be played during the evening. Putting together a playlist in advance of the big day is a great idea if you and your guests have specific music tastes; but just taking requests on the night worked really well at Lucy & Steven's wedding, because guests could just request any songs that came to mind on the night that would get them dancing - and as you can see from the video, there was a lot of dancing as well!
