Homemade Seed Winnower - Test I - Sunflower Seeds

We made a seed winnowing machine from scraps around the farm using a design published by https://www.realseeds.co.uk/seedcleaner.html. It's going to save us a lot of time for cleaning seeds, especially smaller seeds. This is a short video of our first test run with some oil seed sunflower seeds that we needed to clean. The shop vac was donated by a friend, so this project was quite literally $0 budget. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit.
