Nahal Zalmon(Wadi Tzalmon). The caves and ruins of the watermills

Nahal Zalmon(Wadi Tzalmon). The caves and ruins of the watermills The Zalmon stream originates in Galilee near Mount Meron in Israel. The national park is located near the city Karmiel. The height difference that forms along the path of the stream from Mount Meron to Kineret (about 30 km long and 1200 m high) was used for water mills, so along the short route you see either water mill buildings or the walls of the aqueduct leading to them. The route starts at highway 804 near the Ras al-Ein village and ends at the Salama village. It’s easy to walk, in spring you can admire a lot of beautifully flowering plants. https://youtu.be/JAGIAsafovM https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGThjlomWmaT5wsAoxYu94w?view_as=subscriber
