The sound is really punchy and very nice over all the frequencies (although this is quite subjective, I know). The active noise cancellation is impressive and I included a small demo. Sure, it will not take away 100% of the noise, but it works incredibly well with low frequencies. On a sidenote, Lachlan mentioned in a previous video that the cable is proprietary. I have to disagree. I am pretty sure that the ends are a 3.5 mm jack and a 2.5mm jack... both with 4 poles. I hope that the video may help you with your decision. Just ask if you have questions! Oh, and by "monitor speakers" in the video I mean the speakers that are incorporated into my desktop screen.
