Marc Martel, born in 1976, is a Canadian rock singer. During his adolescence he founds a small Christian rock band, Downhere, with his roommate. The group signs its first contract with World Records in 2003. Thanks to the similarities of his voice with that of Freddie, Marc Martel was chosen "voice actor" for various musical parts within The Bohemian Rhapsody film.
