Enabling Vintage iMac's Target Display Mode on Linux
Apple iMacs from 2009 to around 2014 could also act as a pure display to other machines, this feature was called "Target Display Mode".
While it's easy to use Target Display Mode on MacOS, doing the same on Linux is a hurdle.
When my iMac's hard drive broke, I took the opportunity to create a custom build of Tiny Core Linux, that could be booted from a USB key, and contained the necessary tools to allow me using my 2009 iMac in Target Display Mode.
