We will talk about the Corretto project, it’s principals, and walk through examples that drove performance gains, latency reduction, and cost reduction in some of the biggest services in AWS as recently as of Nov 2020. == Yishai Galatzer Yishai Galatzer is a manager in AWS Developer Tools. His team builds and distributes Amazon Corretto, a no-cost, multiplatform, production-ready distribution of the OpenJDK. Corretto initially powered Amazon’s services, and in 2018 released for public consumption. Other teams build and operate AWS services such as AWS CodeCommit, and AWS CodeArtifact.
