Why do some people believe that games need player housing, or property ownership? Of course, I’m talking about a specific genre here, namely MMO’s and other related large scale online games. What is it that drives the frequent requests for property? Be it player housing in the latest Fantasy Medieval Online, or ship interiors in Space Game Online. Some might have you believe that this is a complex question, but personally I believe the answer is very simple. It comes down to our innate human nature to want to be more!
