Let's Play The Sims #87: Samuel and Danielle Become Semi-Famous

Considering that Danielle started out as a nobody, she's already progressed quite far in her efforts to reach stardom. There's still more levels of fame ahead of her then behind however, so we need to keep going with our efforts. Now that Keppal is her friend it won't be long before we progress that little bit further in her career to see how much she can earn and more importantly, what skills she needs to progress that little bit more. One thing I've definitely noticed with the fame career is how much money we're being paid relative to the amount of time we're working. At the moment each successful action earns us about a hundred simoleons which is quite a lot, but when a sim works a more conventional job their needs don't drop as significantly while they're working. If we worked for seven or eight hours in Studio Town we'd be able to make far more money then Dave or Yvette would in their jobs, but her mood would tank so much that she'd need to spend a lot of time recovering after she got home. You can buy food in Studio Town, as well as take care of a lot of the easier needs at various lots but energy is exceptionally hard to maintain. It also requires a lot more focused attention compared to a normal job, taking up far more real time to do a full day of work. This'll change if Danielle reaches the higher levels of fame, where the money earned is sizable but we're a long way from there yet. If we'll get there remains to be seen.
