LIDAR Data - Surface Object - Smooth Contours

My name is Maher Louis. LIDAR Data gives us 100k points and it's visible in a either DWG, TXT, XLS, or MDB file formats. Using Civil 3D 2010 you need 5 steps to use LIDAR data. First is to use those points to create a surface, second is extract that surface into an LandXML file, next is to Import the XML file into a Civil 3D drawing to style the surface, next is to "simplify surface" to reduce the size of the data, and lastly is to copy/modify the style to smooth the contours.
