(In 2019) Meinhardt has been around for a while - a three time Olympian, two World Championships Individual Bronze Medals, three Team World Championships Silvers, Rio Olympics Bronze Medalist in Men's Team Foil, and Top 8 finish in the individual. Meinhardt originally planned to retire after Rio, but ended up sticking around and reaching a new peak to his fencing in the 2016 to 2021 Olympic Cycle. Meinhardt had already placed Silver at the Paris World Cup earlier in this season (losing to Foconi in the Final). On the Left, Edgar CHEUNG Ka Long 張家朗 of Hong Kong. Cheung won his first senior FIE major in 2016, by beating SHIKINE Takahiro in the final of the Asian Championships. Cheung then qualified for the Rio Olympics, where he lost in the Top 16 against Guilherme TOLDO. In the Season of 2016-17, Cheung won the Junior World Championships by beating SAITO Toshiya in the Final, and then won his first medal at a FIE non-Zonal senior event - Bronze at St. Petersburg 2017, then a Silver at the 2018 Hong Kong Asian Championships. In the Season of 2017-18, Cheung won Bronze at the 2017 Cairo World Cup.
