How to be a silent movie star with Teona Dolnikova.

I spent my holidays in Moscow, the place where I grew up. I went to see the theater play in 3D "Paula Negri" about the star of a silent movie in Hollywood at the beginning of 20 century. And guess what? My sister Teona Dolnikova is playing this character of Paula Negri. We went to the backstage after the show. It is a magical place with a lot of decorations from other theater plays. The theater itself is called "The theater of the russian army", a place built by Stalin and there are thousands of stories about the building itself. Here you have our story with my sister, about the difference between the silent movie acting and modern acting, where you have no possibility to use your voice as the instrument. But the only thing you can use is your body language, gestures. At the beginning and the end of the video you hear the song. It is an old georgian chant "Batonebo" that we used to sing when we were kids. It is magical to sing it at the place like that, with a great natural reverb quality.
