Iceland - Gigjokull outlet glacier - Eyjafjallajokull volcano

Gigjokull outlet glacier of Eyjafjallajokull glacier and volcano. This is where the floods from the erupting crater came rushing down and brought with it approximately 120 cubic meters of tephra and filled up the glacier lagoon that used to be there before. The lagoon is now filled with approximately 25 million cubic meters of tephra and the whole area is coverd in ash from the volcano. The crater is above this outlet glacier.
