Come to find out the fitting for the fuel return line got split open causing the fuel to spray wildly. We were able to find a repair shop to get the piece welded back together and were able to get the diesel mess cleaned up using lots of dish soap and a deodorizing spray. Now that we have the engine back in running order it is time for us to make our way back up the Florida coast to Fort Pierce, where we started our journey back in February. On the way out of the Palm Beach anchorage we passed a famously known cruising yacht named Venus. We didn't film any of us motor sailing along the coast, because there really wasn't much to see, but picked our story up again as we were entering the Fort Pierce inlet. There was a strong 4 knot current flowing from the Fort Pierce inlet as the tide was going out which made for a very slow entry. The bay was very crowded with people and boats due to it bing a holiday weekend. Tomorrow is Memorial day, so we're pretty sure the marina office will be closed. We will anchor for a couple of day and then go in on Tuesday to talk with them.
