SAS Event Stream Processing (ESP) 7.1 with Kubernetes is a framework to help process and analyze streaming data coming from edge devices while working in the cloud. The ESP Operator extends the Kubernetes API to automate the installation and management of multiple instances of ESP applications. SAS ESP with Kubernetes provides for controlled and automated deployment, management, and auto-scaling of ESP Server running in container pods across a Kubernetes cluster in a cloud environment. ESP with Kubernetes (ESP-Kube) offers a highly available, reliable, and fault-tolerant environment. It enables enterprises to create multi-user, multi-tenant deployments and comes with the load balancing necessary to provide scalability of ESP Servers. It offers a secure web client and container support. The ESP-Kube framework also provides metadata management.
